• Files you process (they stay in your browser)
• Text you enter into any tool

We do collect, via Google Analytics 4:

• Pages visited and time spent (anonymised)
• General location (country/city level)
• Device type and browser
• How you arrived at the site (referral source)

This data is used only to understand which tools people find useful so we can build more of them.

We use cookies only for:

• Google Analytics (traffic measurement)
• Google AdSense (when ads are displayed — these are third-party cookies managed by Google)

We do not use cookies for tracking, marketing profiling, or any purpose beyond site analytics.

All tool processing on UtilTap happens in your browser using client-side JavaScript. When you use a file converter, counter, or text tool:

• No file is uploaded to any server
• No text is stored or transmitted
• Processing happens entirely on your device

You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet after a page loads — the tools continue to work.

UtilTap uses:

• Google Analytics 4 (traffic analytics)
• Google AdSense (advertising, when active)
• Vercel (hosting infrastructure)

Each of these services has their own privacy policies which govern their data handling.
